Closing One Chapter Of Waves

If you’ve been visiting Waves recently, you’ll know things have been a little quieter. That pause wasn’t planned, but life asked me to slow down, to give my energy to my family, and to take time to reflect.

Waves has never been just a clothing brand. It began as a way to carry my son Cohan’s memory forward, and to spark conversations about grief, conversations I once never imagined having, but knew were needed. Waves was always about showing that love and loss can exist side by side, and that vision is still at the heart of everything.

The Heart of Waves

This first collection will always mean more to me than I can say. These weren’t just clothes, they became part of people’s lives. You’ve worn them to the gym, on coffee runs, in quiet moments of reflection. You’ve brought them to community events, cold dips, and fundraising days. They connected us in ways I could never have dreamed, and that’s something I’ll carry with me always.

Why the Pause

Stepping back from Waves wasn’t easy, but it was necessary. I needed time to breathe, to hold space for the people closest to me, to grieve my grandfathers passing and to think about what Waves really means, not just for me, but for the community it’s created.

This pause isn’t the end of the story. It’s the closing of one chapter and the making of space for the next.

Final Stock

As part of that, I’m sharing that all pieces from the first collection are now final stock. Once they’re gone, they won’t return. These originals carried Waves further than I ever thought possible, and they will always be special.

A Personal Reflection

One of the most meaningful photos I’ve shared alongside this update is of my granda and me, looking into Cohan’s incubator. Two of the most important men in my life, now together. They are the heartbeat behind Waves, and always will be.
